these are some of my favorite read-by-the-author memoirs and nonfiction :) these are just titles i can personally vouch for, but i would welcome recommendations of books you’ve listened to and can vouch for as well!! (i have some ideas of books i want to list but won’t add them yet since I haven’t finished them)

I love these books and their narration by the author: Sitting Pretty: The View from My Ordinary Resilient Disabled Body by Rebekah Taussig What My Bones Know: A Memoir of Healing from Complex Trauma by Stephanie Food Frighten the Horses by Oliver Radclyffe (though unfortunately the audiobook is an Audible exclusive 😔)
My all-time favorite memoir read by the author is Born a Crime by Trevor Noah! If you haven't read it yet, you have to bump it up the TBR. He's a stellar narrator and his story is fascinating.
