I want to read this book but I see a lot of people not liking it but at the same time some people love itš what should I do?

Can we just all agree that if we had the ability to mute people in real life, the world would be a much nicer place.

Saw the film years ago, loved it. Thought it time that I finally got round to reading the book... so here I am.
I'm curious to see how close, or indeed not close, the film and the book are.

"Oh, and by the way... there's no Santa Claus or Easter Bunny. Also bullshit. Sorry, kid. Deal with it."
Brutal. Probably don't let your kids read this book until they're old enough, otherwise there's going to be a few distraught young ones you'll have to console.

The prologue was great. It set the scene and the contest nicely. I'm really looking forward to sinking my teeth into this one.

I can already tell that I'm going to have a few choice words for Fanny. I'm only 5 chapters in and already she has shown herself to be selfish and self-centered.
