Maybe I've just outgrown the target audience for Marissa Meyer, it was fun but nothing holds up to the nostalgia/level of the lunar chronicles. I did enjoy this more than Gilded. It just felt predictable, fun and decently written, but nothing especially memorable.

I walked into this book hearing Lady Knight and was so excited. Jump scare when the first actual chapter is the POV of a man(although a seemingly tolerable one so far). Reviews are giving me hope but I'm low key worried this is another Addie LaRue where the actually interesting woman is reduced down to how she can interact/help a mostly boring man. I'm gonna keep reading cause the prose is beautiful but fingers crossed.
