the main character is frustrating me. it might just be that i recently read really well developed characters and really devastatingly cozy books that were incredibly well written, but the main character's personality is simply getting on my nerves and i'm having a difficult time empathizing with her cause she's just lashing out at people that are being kind. i might just be too much of an extrovert for this book cause despite my inclines to being alone id never want to be alone so badly that i actively would snap at people for simply being nice? i dont know i might pause this book.

this book is the best thing ive read in my life. if i could live in this book i could. i have no clue how im going to keep living as if i haven't been entirely bamboozled by this book but alas i must try.

i had read of this book somewhere, whatever it was claimed this book feels like a kiss on the forehead. i'd like to disagree. this book is so much more than that. this book is a breath of fresh air after you've been submerged, a ray of sunlight on a winter morning, some soft jazz playing in your favourite cafe. this book makes you believe in hope again, in humanity and that's what i really needed right now.
