Orlando Ortega-Medina

Orlando Ortega-Medina is a London-based author and lawyer. His collection of short stories, Jerusalem Ablaze, published in 2017, was shortlisted for the UK’s Polari First Book and established him as a talented storyteller. Following this success, Ortega-Medina went on to release a series of gripping novels, including The Death of Baseball in 2019, The Savior of 6th Street in 2020, and The Fitful Sleep of Immigrants in 2023. His upcoming novel, Emerald Road, is highly anticipated and is set to be published in North America by Amble Press in January 2015.
