I grew up with a mechanic in my house. Reading a book about a garage seemed like a lot of fun. However, This mechanic had the same name as my father and that was a big issue for me. Since they called im Duke, I decided to read on.
    My biggest issues are:
    1. The way Duke speaks. I grew up in a small country town. I understand slang and accents, etc but the narrator just did not handle it well.
    2. In a small town, there is no way they would have been able to sneak around at all. Someone would have seen the truck outside her house or would have burst into the office at the garage.
    3. The brother and the best friend. I'm just leaving this here.

It was an okay story. I liked the characters but the story was a little flat.
