Hmm, I thought I would give this a go as I am a huge fan and avid reader of the Roy Grace books. I managed to read it okay, it's just to me the story got more and more far-fetched. By the time I'd got to about 60% I felt like I had to carry on and finish it. Some bits were very creepy and really freaked me out, so the book wasn't all bad.
I also had issue with the ending, I felt like it was a bit rushed and I honestly felt like it was a bit of a weird ending. However, I did enjoy the book overall, but I think I will just stick to reading his Roy Grace books from now on, instead of any more stand-alone books he may do.
