Thornton and Losha have a history, one he is trying to hold on to and she is trying to forget all because of she doesn't want any of their lives in danger especially their child that Thornton knows nothing of. This is the perfect mix of romance, suspense and action where you don't know if Thornton will break through the steel wall Losha has erected, what will happen with Whittaker Abbey and who is really after Losha and will they succeed. I loved getting to know Thornton, Losha as well as Darrow, Pinch as well as Wilder along with seeing some familiar faces and left me counting down until the next book to see what happens with Wilder!!!
