Really bof. The beginning was nice, not too much action or original ideas, but still some interesting setting. I was liking it and its vibes but then... Then something happens. Then the writer breaks logic and all the set up she built up while creating/exploring her universe is just THROWN over the window like ALL this is juste nothing, just to help the story. It reaaly looks liek the writer wrote herself into a writing hole (or idk what the expression is) and had no idea how to get out of it. It also does one of the WORST stropes in the end! That I will spoil afterwards

So the thing that really made me so disapointed is that basically, the FMC hired a bodyguard that turns out to be a demon (or at least considered as a demon by humans). She doesn't care and still loves him, 'cause she leanred to know him before discovering this. That's still ok to me. But when ALL the secondary characters learn it and NOBODY bats an eye.... That's were I draw the line! Like wtf even the poeple who tried to KILL her because they weren't sure she was the chosen one, just accept it and protect him???????? WHAT???!!!!!

And the second thing that made me thrown the book (not litteraly tho) is that at the end, the MMC dies. But LOL nooooooooo, he's the hot guy he shouldn't die! So let's just say that the FMC absorbed a bit of his (recovery) powers and just... brings him back to life!! Yes.

So yeah, the 200 last pages are really a pain in the ass. I would have DNFed it if it wasn't so close to the end
