i'm usually a big rereader, especially if i haven't read a book in a while, but there is something about this book that is making a reread difficult. which is weird.... because i don't even remember reading the book. i know i have, because there are details of the plot that i have remembered as they happen, but i couldn't even tell you where the book goes from here, and yet, i am struggling to get back through it. i might try an audiobook.

This book FINALLY got interesting around chapter nine. After that it was an enjoyable read. I love histories and back stories of things, so I did quite enjoy learning the beginning of Narnia, how everything started and why. The last few chapters were really good. As always, lots of good morals for children (and the rest of us as well), and an imaginative way to help them understand the Christian religion without bashing them in the head with the Bible.
