“Unpacking the Undertaker” the fourth installment of Ella Westin Mysteries by Jennifer Oberth, takes place in Port Bass at the end of 1827.
As Ella unpacks her belongings, she discovers the body of the town’s undertaker. It’s a big surprise because a bunch of retired pirates, directed by her father-in-law, orchestrated the packing and moving of Ella’s possessions back to the family house.
This was supposed to be a delightful gift in the eyes of the “retired” pirates. However, it resulted in a murder investigation during the final days of Ella and Joe Westin’s honeymoon.
Humorous situations, heartwarming dialogue, and unsuspected partnerships await the reader of this charming mystery.
If you enjoy the Mystery genre, the Ella Westin book series, or light-hearted humor, this book is for you.
