All Pearl has ever known was the cult environment she grew up in, now her life is in danger and Rip to show her what life and freedom on the outside is like. I loved how Rip was so wary about over stepping with Pearl whilst being firm with her using her own voice and making her own decisions, while also finding it hard to resist her as the days go on. I get Rip and the others wanting to make sure that those involved in the cult are taken down as well as trying to find answers for Pearl, but for a time you are chewing your lip wondering if everything will work out and if there will be collateral damage in some form or another.
