I was so excited to read this book because of the danger to Weather (I love her so much) and I was interested in seeing how Lucas handled the situation. What I wasn't expecting was for there to be so much coverage on the separation surgery, but honestly - that was the most interesting part of the book for me. The rest  was... just a crime novel. The actual crime part of the book didn't really do anything for me this time around, although I do always love seeing how involved Virgil and Lucas are. Like he doesn't just work for him, and I appreciate seeing them pop up in each other's books.
