I love a good forced proximity/ desperate situation/ silver bear.
I adore this how this writer crafts a story. There is a lot going on in this story but the relationship does not get lost in the drama. The drama is not unrealistic.
I adored Rueben. He is such a problem solver. A smart man who just wants to have someone to take care of. His partners have all said he was too much and he is doubtful about finding love.
Toby was thrown into the caretaker role when his father was injured and his mother died unexpectedly. He cannot afford to be out of work and he cannot trust anyone to help him.

These two were so wonderful. I loved this book and the dynamics. The fact that Rueben's daughter is in the story not as a problem but as another dynamic in their lives.
