It was interesting.
I liked the premise and I was really curious to know what actually happened.
However, there were a few flaws that didn't let me enjoy the book 100%.
A little bit too much meandering. All those flashbacks that start and finish without the warning right in the middle of a paragraph. I hate when it happens.
Plus, Izzy as a main character is a bit too passive. So she had a great relationship with her father before his arrest. Yet, the minute he's arrested she just accepts that he's guilty and doesn't even try to figure out anything about the case herself? It could make sense if she was like 7 when everything transpired, but she was 17, almost an adult, and she just believed her beloved father is a murderer without looking at the evidence?
Anyway, it was a great read, so 3.5 sounds like a fair rating.
