I liked the idea of the setting but wasn't as satisfied with the outcome as I expected it from the reviews. Istg not too far into the book I already thought "is their relationship toxic or is it just unconditional love?" For me the answer in the end was "toxic". I'm sorry for those who fully disagree with me but I really didn't feel the chemistry between our main characters. Also I didn't enjoy the character development (if you can even call it that). Idk it kinda felt like someone is writing history school books and wanted to include a lovestory (which didn't feel like one)... Maybe I just had high expectations that just couldn't be met but I personally wouldn't recommend that book to anyone.
