Claim is a dark mafia romance, the explosive final part to the Beneath The Secrets Series. Each book can be read as a standalone in this interconnected series. You can’t kill a dead man twice. I’ve hidden behind a mask for long enough. Six years to be exact. My scars are the agonizing reminder of the failures of my past. They represent the evil that lies beneath them. I’ve always been the one in charge, but now I’m a ghost. And there are benefits to that… I can take what I want, or who I want. Starting with her. The woman whose past crosses with my own. I’ve been her secret protector, now I must save her from the man who almost destroyed me. My father. But the woman I’m rescuing is no damsel in distress. She was made to raise hell and take no prisoners. The moment she falls from that window in her bid for escape, I know she is going to be the death of me. And what a beautiful way to go… It was written in the stars long before we met that she will become my wife. She is mine to claim, to love, and to protect against the cruel world that we live in. Even when she sees my demons, she wants to dance in the rain with them. She dives into the depths of my soul and captures my heart and in return, she gives me a future, something I never thought possible. She is my iskorka, my spark, the one that I need to burn the world down to get my revenge. They can all try their hardest to tear us apart, but her love for me is just as ferocious as mine for her. I’m prepared to risk it all, down to my last breath. I just hope this time, I come out alive to prove to her I am a monster worthy of her love.

“Sometimes you don’t have to look up at the dark skies to see the bright light in your life. Not when it’s right in front of your eyes.”

I've been waiting for this book for the longest time and am so happy it is finally here. I gotta admit it was a bit more fast-paced than I thought it would be. It took me by surprise just how quickly everything happened between Mikhail and our lovely FMC. I little bit more tension would have been nice. Other than that, I have no complaints and pretty much devoured this book and as usual, Luna did not disappoint with the spice and drama in this book.
While I love the main characters, Hades has to take the win when it comes to my favorite character. Anytime he showed up in the book, I couldn't help but smile and just be happy. He was absolutely amazing and I loved every second of it. It was so much fun seeing his bonds with the FMC continue to grow.
Overall, I think it was a good wrap to the Beneath the Secrets series. As always, I cannot wait to see what else Luna has in store of us. I'm already anticipating learning more about Enzo's story.
