Ménage à Troys (Den of Sin, #2)

Holley Trent

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Eve and Brent Troy have been married three months and have yet to consummate their union. Faced with losing her claim to her family property, busy surgeon Eve had to marry before her thirtieth birthday. Brent was single and convenient, and more importantly, he said yes. Now, she wants to light a flame under their cold marriage, but they're strangers and don’t know how to connect. A New Year’s weekend at The Beaudelaire is supposed to give them the tools they need. When they arrive, they learn the tool they've been equipped with comes in the form of Eve's best friend and fellow doctor Remy Kelly. He knows Eve's marriage is a sham and is intent on claiming her for himself. But when faced with Eve's strapping new husband, who comes onto Remy's radar as exactly the kind of dominating male he likes, he has a battle of conscience. He wants to take Eve home, not Brent, but for some reason they seem like a package deal. At The Beaudelaire anything goes, so instead of two people letting down their guards, three forge bonds. That's all well and good for the weekend, but what will shake out of their tentative trio when it's time to go home?

It doesn't take much to make me happy. Just bring a hot dude into the main characters' marriage of convenience and f*** both of them. Is that so hard? Thank God it's so hard.

Brent and Eve got married so Eve could get her inheritance because that happens all the time not really. They're going to a Sex Hotel(TM) to try to get this marriage to work because they haven't f***ed yet and just need something to jump start both their genitals.

Eve, Eve, Eve--Brent's a ripped to shit mechanic with a big dick. You're a surgeon. The least you could do is give him an all-over physical because otherwise, what a f***ing waste. Even if you didn't marry him for love, HE'S YOURS TO DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH. I want you to. Please. Help a sistah out.

Luckily, the hotel concierge knows just what they need...Eve's hot-as-hell surgeon-mentor-best-good-friend-at-the-hospital Remy. Remy, who swings both ways. And guess what! So does Brent! Who knew. Eve didn't know, but Holley Trent did. And more importantly, she knew I needed this.

Remy doesn't waste much time and gives Eve the good dickin' she's needed. Who cares if she's married? I mean, it's a Sex Hotel(TM), and you're not there for the free contintental breakfast (though I bet the waffles are deeee-licious).

Remy's always loved Eve, and when he found out about the marriage of convenience, he came to the hotel with the goal of riding off into the sunset with her on his big, white dick. But...when he washes Brent's back in the shower because he's nice like that, Eve catches Brent with his dick in Remy's butt. Surprise!

Eve's a little upset, but I just wanted to sit on the toilet and watch, but this is a book, not real life.

Ennyway, they all three come to an agreement and continue coming, so I consider that an HEA.

Holley Trent--THIS is why I buy 345 books a month--FOMO. What if I had never found you? You, who knows what I need and delivers?! Better warm up my download finger 'cuz backlist here I come (and that sounds as nasty as I hope it is).
