Wicked Beautiful Lies

Wicked Beautiful Lies

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

An omission, a half-truth, there are the lies we tell to save and those we tell to hurt. But what of those we tell ourselves? Can a lie be righteous? Is it ever justified? You see, I've spent the last ten years living a lie. I painted my face and pretended to be someone else. Why? Because of one wickedly beautiful night. Thoughts of him and what it would feel like to be his consumed my mind. Until finally, I was. For one night, we made a vow. A promise. An oath forged in blood to absolve us of our sins and save our souls. "Just this once." Too bad once was all it took to leave us fractured and bleeding from the truth behind our lies.
