I really loved the first book and was looking forward to this one. It started really well but just took a slow slide downhill. There were moments that I loved but I felt that Luna was often way more prepared than blindness in a new place would allow. I still loved Luna and Fowler. Their relationship has been hard one and they continue to try and protect one another. This installment was fairly solid until the end. The end felt rushed and was wrapped up in a rather neat package within about 4 pages. After so much drama it was a huge let down. I actually re read it to make sure I didn't miss something. There are holes in the ending but it was an acceptable ending to this duology.
