This is a classic example of the types of books I used to buy on impulse, before I became much more picky about the money I was spending on books I was buying.  Did I need the novelisation of the 2017 movie?  No, I didn't!  Did I read it now just to get it off my physical TBR?  You bet your arse I did!

There's not much I can really say about this book - I love the story of Beauty and the Beast, although I do recognise its faults and know it's not perfect.  The original film is one of my favourites, and I quite enjoyed the 2017 live-action version.  It's just not the same to read it without the music and songs, and so this was lacking for me for that reason.
