The crew of the pirate ship the Lovesick Fool are worried about their navigator, Sentorr. He's obsessed with working, spending all his time on the bridge. It's not work the big blue alien is truly obsessed with, though. It's a female. Sentorr's convinced that Zoey, a female navigator on another pirate ship, is his mate. She won't show him her face, though, or agree to meet him. She's happy to have steamy, late-night conversations with him over comm channels, though. He's determined to find her and claim her, no matter what it takes. But when he does locate her and discovers that she's been lying to him about who - and what - she is, will he still love her? Or is the fact that Zoey's human too much for this blue-skinned male?

It was nice to round out this series on a somewhat lighter installment
The main male character Sentorr was interesting, I liked his loner status and peculiarities, and somewhat obsessive/control tendencies for managing the ship and the Navigator duties. I felt that there was no tension or wondering if he would have a problem with Zoey being human, internally because he believes she is his mate already, and externally/meta because this is a romance book.
The element of 'we live far apart and each have careers and responsibilities, so how do we be together?' is a realistic problem that will need solving, I just didn't really care for it being The Angst and conflict of this book, I wanted our characters to just make a choice! Maybe have a little more dramatic 'love conquers all' attitude.
Also of course one of the other human women is pregnant. I feel like this author has such a hard-on for pregnancy and breeding
I thought it was interesting to have a main female character who was human but have been raised by these aliens, and therefore was worried that she was unattractive based on their standards.
I appreciated that Zoey's brothers cared so much about her, they had nice relationship time on page, but overall I found them to be irritating / I was not hooked on to their story lines
I agree with other reviewers who commented that this book was quite straightforward with few bells and whistles, and that maybe this made it feel boring / not memorable/ not well-rounded
