It has a dark past--one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself “Murderbot." But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more. Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don’t want to know what the “A” stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue. What it discovers will forever change the way it thinks. Alternate cover of ISBN 9781250186928. Another cover edition can be found here

Ahhh even better than the first one! I am really enjoying getting to know Murderbot more and it getting to know itself better also! And I love it’s relationship with ART! This was such a good story that avoided the problem I had with the first having too abrupt of an ending.

Overall, really solid character development and I love this rotating cast of characters. It really makes it feel like one of the shows Murderbot likes so much.

    My fave quotes:

If the humans were dead, who would make the media?

How did you know to do that?
