Dear Step-Santa, The last thing I wanted for Christmas was a shockingly gorgeous new stepbrother. And I certainly didn’t want to play elf to your Santa at my mother’s charity event or sneak off to kiss you under the mistletoe. Ok, maybe I wanted that at the time, but it can’t happen again. It’s too naughty. Is it bad I can’t stop fantasizing about all the ways you can deck my halls so I can fa la la la la all night long? It is, I know. I can’t control myself. What I really want for Christmas is to stop craving you all the time. I’ll need a Christmas miracle. Signed, Winter Christmas Alert: This is a fast-paced, short romp in the snow. Filled with holiday fun, steamy scenes that'll make you blush, and a pair of step-siblings that can't keep their hands to themselves. A perfect read to relax by the fire and get your heat on. Welcome to a filthy dirty Christmas! Forget sugar and spice and everything nice … this year we want to show off our naughty side. Taboo, dangerous, and over-the-top, we’re bringing you everything you were too scared to ask Santa for. Don’t worry, loves, these are still packed with the heroes you crave and the HEA’s you deserve!

Another book where you’re getting what’s advertised. A cute, cheesy, Christmas novella.
I didn’t think this story was too taboo, while the two main characters are step-siblings they are much older. They are 26 and 30 I believe so they are full adults and they don’t live in the same house or even with their parents so I don’t find the step-sibling too odd in this book. It’s just an added component to make it “taboo and dirty.”
I really liked the light pinning of each other and knowing they shouldn’t like each other, I wish it would have gone on longer but it’s a novella so we gotta fit the goods in a short amount of time.
2 things I really didn’t like though:
Our main girl, Winter, was on this thing about not cussing so instead she would say elf names. Now I know it’s a Christmas short story but my god did this annoy me after the first time. It made the book feel pretty cheesy to me. Almost like a kid's show where they say weird words instead of cussing.
I also am not a fan of insta love. I’ve never been a fan of this trope though so it’s not surprising that it rubbed me the wrong way here. They were together around the holidays for like 2 or 3 weeks, if I remember correctly, but we don’t see any of that. If they did get to know each other in that time period that’s news to the reader because I had no clue.
Anyway, it’s short and cute if you’re in the holiday mood. The sexy scenes are pretty tame, the most outlandish thing about this book is the step-sibling trope but even that wasn’t shocking.
