So I think it was better than the second book, but still far from being as good as the first book.

There were many passages that just felt boring and I just didn't want to continue reading it. On the other hand there were also passages I really enjoyed. Katy and Daemon are just such a great couple and there were less forced conflicts than in the second book, which is great. So I really enjoeyed their scenes.

Blake, I think, is really annoying. I had hoped for a little more character depth, if he had to appear, but there was none so I thought he was just annoying, but that's probably also how it was supposed to be.

And now, the ending: As much as tragic cliffhangers are terrible, I love them. I think they leave a huge impact and therefore influence the reading experience immensely. So I'm glad there was such an ending and now I really can't wait to read the next book!! And that always means that the book has done something right, doesn't it?

Ich würde diesen Teil 2,5 Sterne geben, womit er bisher der schwächste der Reihe ist. Der Plot kam meiner Meinung nach viel zu kurz. Stattdessen kamen immer wieder die gleichen Streitgespräche zwischen Daemon und Katy auf, weswegen mir deren Liebesgeschichte total auf die Nerven geht. Dämon an sich wird auch immer anstrengender, er behandelt Katy wie ein Kind anstatt wie eine gleichgestellte Partnerin und ist eifersüchtig auf jedes männliche Wesen, mit welchem sie interagiert. Wirkliche Sympathie empfinde ich tatsächlich nur für Dee und Dawson. Das Beste am Buch war für mich aber fast schon das Ende, weil das der fast einzige spannende Teil war und da einige Dinge passiert sind, die ich so nicht erwartet hätte.
