Dishonorable Hero was my introduction to the Terlizzi family, and it did not disappoint! This short prequel packed a punch with an emotionally charged backstory, fierce tension and violence between two feuding mafia families, and wonderfully descriptive writing that transports you into the perilous world of our MCs, Luciano and Gianna. The foreshadowing served as a great setup for Kent's upcoming novel, Charming Villain, as it seems we're going to get an enemies-to-lovers/forced marriage vibe with our two MCs, who share an abhorrence for the same man—Gianna's father. I'm excited to continue their story in the next book!
