First book in awhile that I’ve really craved/didn’t want to put down/needed to know what was next.
    Seriously good.

    4.5 Stars
    Adventurous, Mysterious, Medium paced

For a set up book, this was fantastic. It was just a fun, flirty, fantasy read. I absolutely blew through this book and immediately purchased the next two in the series. There is mystery and romance and a story about finding out about who you truly are. This book definitely got me excited to continue the series!

Mix of plot and character driven story
    Strong character development
    Lovable characters

    3.5⭐️

This book was good, but not great. It got a little too love triangle-y for me. I also found the characters kinda annoying sometimes, but then I loved them at other times so idk. 3.5 is the happy medium lol.

Ok was Rafe being the prince and Kaden being the assassin supposed to be as shocking as it was to me or was I just oblivious? I genuinely don’t know lol. Also, Kaden is Tamlin. Maybe I’m just being cynical, but some of the stuff he said at the end just reminded me so much of the stuff Tamlin said to Feyre at the beginning of ACOMAF.
