In 8 years, Marlon James will be one of the brightest rising stars in the music industry. Bristol Gray will be his tough, no-nonsense manager. But when they first meet, she’s a college student finding her way in the world, and he’s an artist determined to make his way in it. From completely different worlds, all the things that should separate them only draw them closer. It’s a beautiful beginning, but where will the story end? FLOW is the prequel chronicling the week of magical days and nights that will haunt Grip & Bristol for years to come. GRIP is the full-length conclusion of their story.

- I didn't really care for the narrators of the audiobook
- the conversations were interesting, a little bit unrealistic to be having with a stranger?
- but I appreciated this effort to layer in emotion and both character and romantic development, and it was both a physical and mental thing
- I know both main characters are young, especially Bristol, but it did feel like that they were very young: never having considered her twin’s point of view?
- there were a few comments that Grip made in his head about Bristol that made me uncomfortable
- I can see some of those great bits of Ryan's writing, these shone and were effortless and flowed along
- I found this novella to be boring overall
- Bristol came across very judgmental and insulated despite her Ivy League education? and despite having a brain that she demonstrates using when having those long conversations?
