0I know this is only 80 pages but having made it halfway, I'm actively skimming out of frustration and finishing this would only make me give it 1 star so I'm bailing.
I am AI follows a cyborg struggling to make things work masquerading as an AI writing program and trying to care for their community. It hammers a lot of commentary about AI, art and creativity right out of the gate and I think for readers who are less annoyed by on the nose themes, this will be more your cup of tea. I'm interested in the themes Jiang is exploring here but not the handling of them so the style just isn't for me. I did really like Jiang's work in Linghun so I'd still pick up other things by her.
