There are many rules a priest can't break: A priest cannot marry. A priest cannot abandon his flock. A priest cannot forsake his God. I've always been good at following rules. Until she came. My name is Tyler Anselm Bell. I'm twenty-nine years old. Six months ago, I broke my vow of celibacy on the altar of my own church, and God help me, I would do it again. I am a priest and this is my confession. Priest is a standalone, full-length novel with an HEA. For mature audiences only

Whoa. When you don’t realize the difference between spicy and SMUT. Would not return to this level of SMUT, too rowdy for me lol
liiiiiisten listen listen. was it completely ridiculous? yes. was it predictable as hell? yes. was it entirely unrealistic? yes. did I absolutely devour it? also yes. I finally decided to see what the hype was about. the story was very predictable, the characters were pretty ridiculous and annoying, and there was a good amount of spice. I think I somehow underestimated the churchiness of it though. idk why I thought being a priest would be a smaller plot point, but there was a lot of god/church content allllll throughout. the guy/priest is the narrator so his whoooooole inner monologue is god god god. which is fine, but I wish there had been more regular-person content. will I read book 2? tbd. i’d def consider it but I need a break from reading god every other word.
