I didn’t expect the twist halfway through the book! That was a good plan to keep her under their care without forcing her into doing it.
But I dnf this @ 73% because of the storytelling. The writing style was not my cup of tea and didn’t keep my attention. I didn’t feel any connection with the story and the characters as well.
Also, the characters were so bland and I didn’t find any interesting traits from them.
