Look at this cover. Between the cover and the title you know exactly what you’re in for. The hero is back from somewhere and he’s going to claim his baby and it’s in Italy because there’s the colosseum right there.
The plot is bonkers. Emma and Nico had a whirlwind romance and marriage after she accidentally dumped a plate of spaghetti on him. But a week into their marriage he DIES IN A PLANE CRASH. She’s kicked to the curb by his family. When the book opens she’s about to marry someone else, because she poor and pregnant and just needs a place to live and health insurance. The hero walks in to STOP THE WEDDING! Then they fly from California to a private island in the Mediterranean (all Harlequin hero’s have private islands) then take the yacht to Italy to Rome.
The plot is a stretch but I love this wild shit.
