The dark romance genre is one of my favorite genres. I’ve read a lot of these stories in the past few years. They aren’t perfect but the story makes up for them. This story did not. I did not like male main character . The spicy scenes weren’t bad but the way that he tried to control her life was off putting. I’m used to dubious consent but somehow Kade went beyond that. I wanted to try to read about a MMC who took control atleast once. Now that I have I won’t be reading this again. When he called her little girl that was a turn off to me.
