I think Clara Rinker is one of my favorite villains in this series so far. I loved her in Certain Prey and I was hoping we would get the same out of her in this one. We didn't, though. Not really.

Clara Rinker was driven by revenge in this book, and I normally would have eaten that up but this time it seemed to drag on. There wasn't as much action or tension throughout the book until we got to the last 80 pages or so. And while it kept me entertained, it wasn't an on-the-edge-of-my-seat entertainment, and that's part of the reason I love this series so much. This one was just lacking in that department for me.
