"San Francisco Chronicle" reporter Cindy has healed from her gunshot wound and has published a book on the infamous serial killers she helped to bring down. Lindsay is just happy that the gang are all still in one piece. But a new terror is sweeping the streets of San Francisco. A gang dressed as cops are ransacking the city, and leaving a string of dead bodies in their wake. Lindsay is on the case to track them down and needs to discover whether these killers could actually be police officers. Maybe even cops she already knows.

This was probably the first time I liked a court scene in this entire series. It wasn't a huge scene, but I enjoyed it.
It was pretty easy early on to figure out who the bad guys were and how all of the cases were tied together. There were way too many players in this one to keep track of what was going on and who everyone was. It was just way too brain hurty.
There was very little of the girls from the Women's Murder Club in this one. I missed them. I mean it's the name of the damn series, and you rarely see them. Is it Yuki? Is she the reason the WMC is suffering? I mean, when Jill was there they were together a lot. But here, not so much.
The cases in this one were all pretty well wrapped up, but there was one loose end still going.
In the audiobook, the music is so damn weird. Particularly during the sex scene in this one. I just, it needs to stop.
I enjoyed this a lot more then the last one. i wait for these books like a kid waits on Christmas.
