Business Casual It was supposed to be one night only. It ended up being the best night of my life. And everything that happened after that was against company policy.

So the basic plot is that Imani meets Tre right before a job interview and both are instantly attracted to each other. But she soon realizes he’s the son of the owner of the company she’s trying to work for. And they have a strict no fraternization policy. So the two have a ONS just before she starts work and agree to hold off until her contract is up in 6 months. Well, they don’t hold off. As it turns out, they can’t keep their eyes or their hands off each other. Or any other body part. Pretty soon, they’re both walking a fine line between their hormones and their careers.
I will say that things worked out in the end, but they took a lot of risks. And it was hard to understand. And yes, their encounters were very spicy and sexy, but it was hard getting into them sometimes because they were taking stupid risks. And these aren’t kids we’re talking about. These are grown, grown folks. She’s 33, he’s 37. So they definitely should know better.
Overall, the book was a fun read, though. The dialogue and conversations were so hilarious at times that I would often find myself laughing out loud. This is definitely an author I wouldn’t mind revisiting in the future.
