This was very meh. The writing/story didn’t seem original at all. Felt like the writer was just trying to copy/mimic criminal minds. Also there were areas where it seemed the story lacked research - like a commercial building having a basement in an area where swamps are located. I’m sorry but as if.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to read or find books by this author. If I already have some in my tbr though I would read it since it was a fairly short story.
