0It's an okay book. The second half was better than the first half, in my opinion. It should have been tighter, shorter, so that the story would have moved along faster. There was so much of nothing happening, even if they did a lot of stuff, mostly it just felt like waiting for the last fight.
Also, it was way too long of a slow burn. The teasing was fun, but it took more than half of the book before they did anything and I get the buildup but a lot of the stuff in the middle of the book could have been cut to make a tighter book.
I'm not sure I want to continue reading the series. The first book was stupid, but it was also a lot of fun. This dragged on a bit. Even if the characters are fun to read about, too much happened while not really much at all happened. I don't remember any names or places or history, it just felt superfluous.
