Does he really see me as a girl? Yuki's a Deaf college student who is at first enchanted by and soon falls in love with an upperclassman in her school named Itsuomi who doesn't care about her lack of hearing but treats her like anyone else. Yuki resolves to face that love head-on and really pursue it proactively. Soon Itsuomi, who was once a riddle for Yuki, starts to really open up to her and express his truest feelings. Itsuomi discusses his feelings with his cousin, then asks Yuki to be his girlfriend. He travels abroad for like a month, then kisses her when he returns. There are vibes from friend O that he likes Yuki too.
In manga / this culture, the people seem to declare 'love' then get in a relationship where they try to deepen the feelings. He is already commenting how hard it will be to ever break up?? Definitely I am wanting more emotional development here! Also, what is the conflict going to be for this series-- him traveling? Him not being fluent in sign? The other guy?
