okay first of all: CUTE

i love how this set up rae’s family (i adore her sisters and her baba) and how they met stonemane! also the stitching magic? that is so COOL. stonemane appeared near the end of “thorn” and i’m excited to see his role in rae’s book.

also — okay, maybe this is sad, but i‘m already rooting for rae and stonemane. i love headstrong female characters with a passion and i’m just so enthusiastic to read her story even more!

“I would like very much to march over and give Stonemane a good hard shake and a shove out the door.
“I am honored,” he says, his voice sweet as honey.
I glare at him. “We were just seeking our father.”
The corners of his eyes crinkle with amusement. “As was I.”
(okay you gotta admit how cute this scene was, like, rae is just so protective and headstrong and stonemane is so intrigued with her)

ALSO: the amount of times rae gets lost in stonemane’s eyes???? countless times. COUNTLESS.
