129. Misadventures with a Professor by Sierra Simone. A young woman has one goal before her summer internship with a stodgy old professor: lose her virginity in London. The man she meets is charming, attentive, and in control. It’s smoking hot (it’s Sierra Simone, c’mon) with a power exchange role play scenario. I adored most of this, but there’s a trope toward the end that isn’t my favorite.
130. Misadventures with a Curvy Girl by Sierra Simone. A photographer finds herself stuck in rural Kansas between two strapping men. How Sierra Simone manages to put so much heart and emotion into menage stories is remarkable. It’s stunningly hot and surprisingly emotional.
131. Misadventures in Blue by Sierra Simone. She’s the detective known as the Ice Queen and he’s the young rookie assigned to work with her. As always, you get well developed characters and steamy steamy steaminess from Sierra Simone. But I tend to stay away from cop fiction. I only read this one because it was in the collection and for the author.
