Crime lives--and dies--in the deceptively picture-perfect town of Port Gamble (aka “Empty Coffin”), Washington. Evil lurks and strange things happen--and 15-year-olds Hayley and Taylor Ryan secretly use their wits and their telepathic “twin-sense” to uncover the truth about the town's victims and culprits.    Envy, the series debut, involves the mysterious death of the twins' old friend, Katelyn. Was it murder? Suicide? An accident? Hayley and Taylor are determined to find out--and as they investigate, they stumble upon a dark truth that is far more disturbing than they ever could have imagined.

Like I stated a few times while I was reading it, there were things that bugged me. I kept feeling like I was reading the same thing about certain people over and over. I also felt like there were instances where one thing was said about somebody and then immediately in the next chapter, the opposite was said. It was an interesting storyline, what with the twists and turns and all the little mysteries but so many little things bugged me, it made it hard to read it straight through. I had to keep taking breaks in order to come back to it. But I'll be reading Betrayal, if only because I adore Hayley and Taylor and the way they are with each other.
