As always, it is very colorful and fun to read about Ms Marvel and her adventures and mishaps. I just wish that there would have been some more "this happened in the last books" because I had forgotten so much.
There were a lot of focus on social justice this time around. Stopping bullying, cyber bullying, racism, loneliness and those kind of stuff. I was not totally on board for these things as the answers were very easy and the problems were solved way too fast. Like when the virus were spreading and it started in WoW and it learned its bad manners from people playing so then everybody started being nice to each other online and then the virus was defeated. Like in one day it was defeated.
Same with the voting and when the Hydra dude would win because gerrymandering and few voter turnout. So then they knocked on doors for a day and a lot of people decided to vote and they solved that problem.
In the end of the book, Kamala states that these kind of problems are much more difficult than what she is used to fighting, because you might not use your super powers and sometimes people aren't happy about what you have done. But the problems have been solved so fast so it feels a little off that she would say that. Sure, it is not as simple and straightforward, but the answers to the problems have been fixed really fast.
I still love this show. Would have liked more of Bruno and more of this new guy, and more of Mike as well. There are so many sidekicks that are really fun to read about as well. I know this is a superhero comic, but I want more about everyone else as well. Maybe it could be its own book, just Kamala being with her friends. That would be nice.
