I knew I was signing up for a journey but HOT DAMN this is so intricate and layered already. My reading pace is sloooow - really forced to take my time and think about everyone’s motivations, remember names, etc. The slower pace is letting my mind picture the people and places more clearly, so even though I’m less than 10% in I already feel immersed in the world. So excited for the Mistborn journey ahead
2If I keep listening the book will be over. What if I just... don't???
1Second time reading, first time on audio. For me, it takes off at around 25%. The experience listening is sooo different from eyeballing it though. The narrator is good (excellent voices to distinguish characters!) but almost too soothing. I kept wanting to nap while I crocheted. 😩 Still, at 24+ hours, buying this audiobook is a GREAT value. 😆 (And I crocheted 1/3 of the front panel of a very complicated sweater! Amazing.)
