I've tried three times now to read this book but at this point, the book wins. I give up. I dislike both main characters. I don't care what happens to either of them really. It really annoys me because I feel like I should like the book! It's well written, I just can't get myself to care enough to want to read it. I've even taken years between readings just to make sure it's not just me being in a slump. Anyway, life's too short to waste on reading books you don't like.
This book was a bore and frankly, I hated the guy love interest. I don’t even remember his name, but he was sexist till the very end. Even when the ended was as shit as it was, I was kinda happy he didn’t get what he really wanted. Because it’s a book you can tell was written by a man and I didn’t like the way women were represented or how the male love interest was represented as a bad but ‘good’ guy.
I really don’t recommend, cool concept too but it didn’t really come through all that well within the novel.
