not fully 5 stars because even tho i loved them so much, I still think it happened a little bit too fast and has a little bit of a insta love trope that im definitely not the biggest fan of!
with that said i still loved this book way better than the first one, lina is such a strong woman, losing her parents and then finding what she believed wasn't really the truth was so awful and i cried and i just wanted to ugh her because she deserves the world but gladly with luca by her side she got the family she deserves it, tho of course she always had her uncle and aunt na dher best friend, addicting luca and his family was a beautiful bonus!! luca is my man, laid back charming cute but could kill you with the snap of his fingers and be a monster if he needed to be, don't mess with the people he loves or else, he's my fave right now, luca and lina definitely own me and i had the best time reading their story!! the banter?? the sweetness between them and also so damn hot??! just so good!! also loved seeing elena and enzo again also gaia and a little bit of violet and really liked the side story with dante and jaz i didn't see that coming but to be honest i loved it!!
overall the plot was good, them learning who wanted luca dead and then lina finding out what rally happened to her dad damn it was wild and good and i couldn't stop reading it, the only issue personally with these books is the insta lovey but at the same time i do see their development and the connection not only sexual but definitely deeply emotional between the characters but yeah that's why it's not & stars! lina and luca are my faves right now but im sooo excited for the rest oh my i do need a few crumbs of gaia and rocco please!!!
i do recommend this series go give them a change!!!
