This was a reread of an old favorite and I really wanted to try the graphic novel this time. If this is my first time reading it and it was through the graphic novel I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as I did the first time. The graphic novel had shorten it to the big sequences missing that essential quest theme of Percy Jackson. Still an enjoyable read and I would still recommend but only after you read the actual book.
