A bit of yarn and a lot of bitterness. That's all the girl of his dreams left behind when she disappeared. Why did she leave? Where did she go? Why the hell does he still care three years later? Grayson Stryker is busy managing his family's drama and their billions while running the largest development company in Manhattan. He doesn't have time to wonder about the gorgeous, one-in-a-million girl who dumped him; or would have dumped him, if she had even bothered to say goodbye. So when her name appears on the cover of a book, Grayson only buys it as a gesture of good will. Obviously. He barely remembers the girl. He definitely won't read her book... until he sees an all-too-familiar name on the first page. His. She remembers every last detail, down to the unthinkable reason she had to leave the only man she ever loved. Time healed her spirit but it didn't help her forget. She wrote every word of their love story from memory, including the dedication in his name. She never guessed four word would bring him to her door, demanding explanations for all the questions she can never answer.

Another 5 star read by Ari
This book. Oh my god this book just broke my entire heart before putting it slowly back together.
I fell in love with Gray and Ella from the very start. Even when they were making decisions I wanted to yell at them for, I could understand the why behind it. None of it felt needless, especially once everything was revealed.
And speaking of revealing. The way I was so blindsided by some of the twists that came along and the entire range of emotions I felt while reading has this book sitting in a top spot for me.
This is the second book of Ari’s that I’ve read and just like the other book, this one gets a very solid five stars from me.
Please pay attention to the triggers, but if you’re ok reading them, I absolutely recommend this one.
