Tokio Blues: Norwegian Wood

Tokio Blues: Norwegian Wood

Haruki Murakami

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

I started this book with a lot of doubts.
There are far too many claims on how misogynistic it is or that is just about people having meaningless se* as a way of progressing through the story.
I don't know if I read a different book than those with all of these claims, because my experience was completely different. I see young people growing up through the pain and sudden appearance of death in their lives and how they try to find ways to deal with the loss and emptiness they experienced.
