Of all the graphic novels I've read recently, I was most impressed with the artwork in Pride of Baghdad. The anthropomorphizing of all the animals in the story made for an interesting viewpoint, and a strongly anti-human one, which I liked. The ending was unexpected but still awesome, loved it! The only thing I didn't like was the treatment of the female creatures. Yes, they're lions and no, I'm not super feminist but it still rubbed me the wrong way at times. Still definitely recommend it for the artwork and cool storyline!
